If you are planning on putting a few paving slabs down to get to the line anyway, I would put them down now and let them sink in and carry on using the line! I haven't been able to use mine in a month nearly because of cement dust and brick dust everywhere. So annoying, we literally wait six months to use it and then can't

I remembered I have a travel line in the garage somewhere so need to find that I think.  I wont be able to do the big amount at the same time that I normally do but it will be better than nothing.

Another week crossed off the list.  1 week 2 days to go.  A few unanswered questions worked out today, and a few more added onto the list but we will no doubt get there in the end.

Tomorrow I have a craft morning, but not really sure what it will involve as group of people I met on the last craft activity organised it and I agreed to turn up but that is about it.  Not sure where I will be parking either but I am sure we will have fun.

For the rest of the weekend I will need to sort the front garden out as there are so many weeds and the hedge needs cutting,  and the garden waste bin was emptied this morning, so I can refill it again.

No idea what is for dinner (probably pasta) and I have just cleared the fridge of out of date smelly items, which is leaving it looking pretty empty, so I will need to sort a shop tomorrow too.  DD1 is planning on making a birthday cake for her BF but has chosen such a complicated design.  I fear it will not go as planned and time it limited.

Felt like I spent a fortune yesterday as needed food and petrol.  Glad to have sorted the fridge before filling it back up.  This weeks dinners will need to be easy as my energy is minimal currently.

Completed a full day in the office today and got some big jobs sorted, I would love to be in the position to not be working up until the last minute, but have a feeling the whole team might be.  We will see.  We have a meal out on Friday night as a team which will be lovely but its quite a pricy place.  I have money in my personal spends pot put aside.

DD2 at band tonight so need to stay awake to collect her

Just realised we are down to a week left at school - arghhh!

Busy busy here trying to get organised a little.  Booked DS in for a haircut on Thursday afternoon (will book his back to school one when we visit), also booked DD2's back to school haircut. Received confirmation the XH has paid some money,  although not sure how much as yet, will wait to see when it lands in the bank.

Tonight we have club, tomorrow Dad is coming round for a catch up and look at my new grass, Thursday haircut and Friday a meal out.  We have nothing Saturday but I imagine it will be spent relaxing and doing housework.  Sunday is the local carnival so DD2 will be playing in the band for it.

I meant to post this first thing this morning!

Exhausted but still podding on at work...3 days to go.  I also gave notice to terminate the estate agents contract this morning.  Not yet decided on the next one to go with but have 21 days to decide I guess.  Will also need to have a big tidy and make pretty before next lot of photos.  But that can wait until the holidays.  My niece has her last day at primary school and has her leavers assembly.  I have told her mum to take tissues as I cried in all 3 of mine at the same school, and I am not one for showing emotions lol.  I dreaded the last one as I knew what was coming.

Me and the admin ladies are out for dinner tonight which should be lovely, but we are all in the same boat and exhausted and just want to sleep lol.  Hopefully after a few drinks they will perk up.  I don't drink or I'd be asleep after just 1.  I still think we will all be home by half 10 at the latest.

Been taking my packed lunches to work with me and not had a chance to spend money, so there is a plus side to working longer hours.  The fridge still has some food in it for now and I have my voucher from the school which will cover a weeks shopping probably.  We did get DS his haircut and booked the next one in before college goes back

Ooh and after XH not paying the money this week and being chased by the child maint people, the new rate of pay has gone into my bank account.  Hopefully it will now be a regular payment and he wont require chasing each week.

    Quick update....

Stayed a little later than I was supposed to today but ended up coming home as while packing up the office I split my trousers.  Currently waiting for the water to heat up so I can have a shower as was hot in the office packing things up.

Estate agents have got back to me asking if I would like an open house the weekend after I would be due to finish with them.  I suggested this ages ago and was told that they don't do open houses, I wonder why they are suddenly so keen? lol.

Feeling brighter this afternoon, not sure if it is because I feel like I have achieved things today or if it is because it is the weekend?  Either way it is a good feeling.

Right I am off for a shower and to make myself look presentable for tonight

Well the weekend has flown by but I have relaxed and had a fairly restful time, in between trips out.  DD1 has decided on her career path and will be going to uni in September.  It is just the local one and she will be able to stay at her job but on reduced days which has been agreed already.  We signed up for her funding today and she thinks that she can do it without the maintenance loan.  We will see but I am hopeful for her.

DS has half completed an application form after getting home from work.  He has asked me to help with the other half, so we will need to do this tomorrow.

2 more days at work before the holidays begin.  There will be more packing and putting up decorations for the staff members leaving do so I am thinking something a little more comfortable than my work trousers tomorrow, to avoid a repeat of yesterday.

Right time for shower and bed

Hope the last couple of days fly by slm!
I'd go on RM and look to see who pays for listings to be at the top and also the ones who do the best pictures. That's how I decided on my one out of all of them. We also chose a local guy who'd been brought up in an identical house to ours and was very keen and knowledgeable on the area and he made us feel like he was invested in helping. I hope the next one does a better job of advertising it as your house is lovely! X

Thank you DFW I will get onto this after we break up.

Not a happy bunny here as got barely anything done today and rather than crossing off things people were adding to everything.  There are also too many changes for my liking including my office - I am being relocated.  While I understand their reasons and thinking they have probably known about this for a while and rather than springing it on me the day before, I could have had time to process it and work on solutions for no storage or noticeboards to pin things.  Also less than a week ago I was told I was not moving which I was very happy about.  So far I am not looking forward to returning in September.  Will need to go in extra early and stay extra late to get even half of what is needed done.

The application form that I was helping DS with finished before we had a chance to complete it even though we should have had up to Friday.  So guess he will keep looking.

Feel like going to bed and just finishing today but DD2 has band until 9.30 so no chance of that

And I am done.  After a very long day with more frustrations I got the majority of urgent things done and everything put away.  I have also done sports club and now plan to not leave the house for at least the next 24 hours.

I have completed an online shop but really only picked the favourites that we always seem to buy as my brain power has gone but we needed food.  Will hopefully improve on this in the next few weeks.  I also plan to top up the freezer with meals that can have easy meals when we go back.

Tonight I plan on watching the tv, reading on here to catch up and then a shower.  Tomorrow will be resting but catching up on some housework and washing
