All done and got the covid jab too.  Really don't understand how I qualify but there were insistent that yes I do.  I can only think that it is my weight that is the concern.  Either way hopefully I am now covered from any nasty illnesses that come my way this winter.  I am normally ok after just flu but with both at the same time it does make me feel rough the next day or so, must do as much as I can today to prepare for tomorrow.

I have just read our staff newsletter and the school staff have been offered both jabs when they come to do the children's ones.  Looks like they are jabbing anyone and everyone at the moment. It makes it look like they are scared something is going to happen.  I've just rung my boss as I am not going in today.  I feel achy and head hurts, plus I cant regulate my temperature - either shivering or boiling.  A day at home is needed doing nothing.  Back to bed I go

Well I am on the sofa after DD1s photo book was just delivered.  Still in pjs and achy, but can take another lot of tablets soon.
Had a quick look at the photo book and I am happy with the end result.  I am sure DD1 will be happy with it.

Well after a day of feeling rubbish I am back feeling almost human today.  I still have some minor aches all over but it is minor compared to yesterday.  So I am back off to work.  I am meeting a friend for a catch up and walk around straight from work so think that will be a slow walk as I will be tried by then.

    Best get going :)

Feeling a little more normal today although still ger tired faster than before.  I will get there and we have nothing planned for this evening.

Trying to catch up on things like the washing today as I can rest in between loads.  Not sure what is for dinner, but feel like we need something stodgy in this weather.  Might end up with chicken stew as I think I have all of the bits needed.

Need some bread so might end up making a loaf in the bread maker as don't fancy going shopping.  I do need a list though.  Might make it to a supermarket after work tomorrow.

Today is the first time this week that I haven't ached.  I felt quite sprightly this morning, although I still lack the energy but getting there.

I went to lidl earlier and spent too much.  I was filling up the gaps that have been created lately.  Things like toilet roll, tin foil and tinned foods. I also bought myself a new iron.  When XH moved in with me he bought his old iron with him, well I have been using it ever since so it is at least 20 years old.  It is not working properly anymore so it was time for a new one and it was in the sale - just money I hadn't planned on spending today.  I do feel much happier knowing we have the cupboards stocked up again.

Last week DD1 asked me to fill in her school bursary form like last year which helps fund some of her school expenses like trips and revision books.  Well it looks like we are no longer poor in their eyes as I now earn over the amount allowed.  I don't think it will mean too much as the trips so far haven't been very expensive - jinxed it now haven't I lol. It is quite nice to know we are on our way up.

Ok I am off to bed as it has been a busy day.  Fingers crossed tomorrow my energy levels will have returned to normal too :)

Yay I made it to the weekend.  Work is going well, but with the extra time that I have I am finding I have time left over each day.  I am sure as the year goes on it will get busier.

I have managed to get a load of washing on the line and I have another in the machine.  Although there are some dark clouds the sky is mainly blue so hopefully it will dry.  The weather has got to the point where it is a little chilly with just a t-shirt on but not quite enough to add an extra layer without boiling.

I need to take meter readings next and submit those.  Dinner tonight is spaghetti bolognaise

Good afternoon to you all.  I have this morning been and had my hearing aids fitted.  I am sitting here typing and can hear the space bar making a noise, having thought my keyboards was quiet - It is not.  All these sounds are back and will take a little bit of time to get used to I'm guessing.  My head hurts a little and think that is mainly because my brain is having to work harder to process things at the moment.  They feel ok though and I can certainly hear people better which is the main thing.  It will be interesting to see the difference in the volume on the tv.

After the hospital we went into the town and I managed to get a few birthday bits for DD2.  DD1 also found a few bits that she has been after for a while.  I saw some old family friends that I've not seen in about 30+ years.  I bought a few Halloween bits as we will no doubt need to celebrate but without going outside.   I have started making the kids a little bucket of sweets as they are a little old for trick or treating.

Read the meter for this month and entered them on the websites  It is starting to rise but still happy with our free electric from the solar panels.  I have until the end of Nov to find a good deal, although unlikely it will be as good as the one I am currently on.

Dinner is easy pizza / curry and we will probably watch strictly while I do some more crochet - currently working on a winter poncho.

Few more days at work done including a late finish yesterday to do some training. Today flew by and I kind of wanted to stay a bit longer to finish up what I was doing.

I now have a 18 year old DD1 which is a little scary.  The benefits were paid yesterday and they had cancelled her child element off.  After speaking to someone on the UC help line and telling them that she was still in education for another year, my case worker is looking into it and will hopefully amend it and get the difference due to me.  They really had no idea when I spoke to them though.  They kept saying if studying for a degree then she is not entitled,  It took a while to explain that it is A Levels and yes she is still at school and is entitled.  I must remember this for DS and DD2 as they will all turn 18 in the beginning of the school year.  It is quite sobering though at the amount of money I will loose coming in next Sept when she isn't in education.  It is unlikely that I am going to be able to make up the difference at work and any contribution from her will not cover the gap.  Oh well I have 12 months to think and do something about it.

Got my dance class tonight, but with the late nights closing in I don't have as much enthusiasm for it as in the lighter evenings.  It will do me good though
