    Thank you @Jessy103, he has offered to come next week but we are away so have asked to come either before or after.

    I was involved in interviewing today for the person that I will be working for.  All seemed nice but really I don't have much of a say in things as I only really met them for a short while.  Anyway 1 day to go.

    I am about to take DD2 to swimming - will treat myself to a drink in the cafe as its only for an hour so can stay and take her friend home before collecting DS.  Plus they have free wifi so can catch up with things while there

    Yay we are done.  School is out for summer!

    The bunting is up in the garden and we are currently cleaning the house while the pizza dough is in the bread maker.  The schools out party is going to begin shortly although there is a bit of a lack of food for it compared to normal and we are missing the sun!

    I received some boxes of chocolates and some lovely cards from my managers.  I will pop those away for now and enjoy when we are in need - probably make it 24 hours at most lol.

    Right I best get moving :)  Happy Summer Holidays

    Party was definitely missing the sun.  We stayed indoors in our jumpers, but the tradition was kept.  I took DS and DD2 to their inductions at the gym. DS is happy he can continue as he goes to the one at school most days during lunch, but DD2 wasn't fussed and thought it was boring (my thoughts too.  I prefer swimming or walking in the outside).  They both get swimming included too so DD2 will probably make more use of that instead.  Either way it will get them out of the house and doing some form of exercise.  If I could get them to cycle there via a safe route that would save me some time and petrol.

    Today all 3 children are out working or volunteering, although I may need to stay close by to DD2 as it is her first shift in the library and she is nervous.  She will be fine when her confidence kicks in as I know she knows how it works as she has been doing the reading challenge since she was 2 I think.

    After that we will be washing clothes, packing clothes and watching next door move out.  Once he is done we will go in to clean as much as we can tonight so that we can free up time tomorrow.  I will be happy once this has been done as I didn't plan on it being quite so close to the end of term and the holiday.

    Chicken for dinner tonight in some form as it needs using up from the fridge.  Also need to see what else is in there that is about to go off and either use up or donate via olio.

    Right first load of washing about to go on :)

    I have another pending payment from google play on my account but when I go into subscriptions to find it there are none.  This is the 2nd month it has tried to take just under £8 from my account.  I have spent ages trying to find where it is from and I think I have.  I just now need to work out how to cancel it.

    Busy busy day - children have all been and completed their work / volunteering.  Tried to sort some bits for the holiday but think we will be needing wet weather clothes rather than sunny summer clothes.  I will try to pack the rest once Ive had a shower.

    For the past 4 hours me and DD2 have been cleaning our neighbours house as he is moving out and would like his deposit back (he is paying us).  Need to go back tomorrow and clean the oven , finish the kitchen and hoover downstairs.  Nearly there but am exhausted again.

    Time for a shower, then to pack and then bed ready to start again tomorrow

    Another 2 hours cleaning next door.  When we went in this morning it looked like we hadn't done anything.  Anyway we did the best that we could but it still looks like it could do with a real deep clean.  Neighbour seemed really please with it but considering what it started like it had improved.  Not sure he will get the deposit back but  done as much as we could.  I must admit I ached when getting into bed last night and again this morning.  Eased off now thankfully, but it is a good reminder to clean as we go, rather than leaving it until it mounts up.

    Ok so the next job is getting the car packed as much as we can ready and then clearing up our house :)

    All the bits that can be put in the car are in.  Still need to add some bits but we are almost there.  Had to sit for a while and rest as done for now and just need 5 min.  Dad is on his way round to say hello and have a great time.

    Still to do:
    * Hoover downstairs
    * Get cat food and instructions ready for brother
    * Collect together final bits - chargers, toothbrushes etc
    * Make dinner and reload the dishwasher
    * Make a fuss of the cats as they always look so sad when we go away
    * Make sure I have all my vouchers etc and paperwork
    * Switch off plugs
    * Check oil, water and tyres (no doubt Dad will make me do this while he is here)

    Thank you, I was awake before 6 this morning, which in my book should not exist.  No particular reason but just how my body is at the moment.

    I think everything on my list is packed although I've not put the last bits in the car as yet as it is raining at the moment, although I feel it is going to be raining a lot this week.  Booked  a table at pizza express for tonight's dinner in the local town.  Might as well start the holiday with a treat :)

    One of the cats didn't come in last night but has turned up this morning.  I don't like them being out at night, but with no cat flap and me needing to sleep there has to be a point when I give up rattling cat treats to try and get them in.  I expect they know we are about to leave so just being awkward.

    Right I best go wake them up.  Will catch up on Friday on our return :)
