Clothes shopping was long but we got some good basics that will carry them through until their next growth spurt. They both found denim jackets for around £5 and already worn in so comfy. We had baskets of things to try on, because why not take the opportunity to try things that we might not normally buy. The place is somewhere you take your outgrown bits and they sell them on your behalf, They take some commission for doing so. Any unsold goes to charity. I had £27 and a few pennies on my account. Paid for most of the new bits so not too spendy of a day there.
Came home and we packed DD2 and DS's cases. Just a few extra bits to go in once the washing has been finished plus hair bits, deodorant and toothbrushes at the last minute. Just mine and DD1's to do now, plus food bits and a box of bits and bobs that we might need. I feel happier now that we have started at least.
The next job is the meal plan and finalising the online shop for this week.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Another day and weekend over. Not really achieved a lot and still as tired as I was on Friday. I have today been sorting bits for the holiday and making sure all paperwork is sorted ready.
No roast dinner as Asda seem to have run out of chickens today with the online orders. Kids decided on an easy dinner instead so its pizza tonight.
Going to shower and get an early night. At least work tomorrow is very short due to TOIL so only 4 1/2 days to go.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Today seemed really quite strange finishing work so early. Felt like I had only just got there. Anyway I've managed to get organised once home and ready for tonights end of term / final gathering. Flowers collected, cake and knife to cut it in bag with serviettes, thank you card in the bag, players player trophy ready, guess the sweets in the jar bits ready. Just need to make the picnic and get the chairs out of the garage and we are all sorted.
It's sad it has to fold through lack of members but hopefully a few of the old players will turn up and we will have one last night. I feel there may be some tears by the end of it.
Tomorrow is last day for DD2, art trip for DD1 - should be enough left over picnic bits for a pack lunch.
Been feeling quite light headed today for some reason. Low blood pressure no doubt, but not had this feeling for a while now. Used to be a regular thing when growing up and when I was pregnant (I can say for sure that is not the issue lol). I'm sure it will pass like it normally does.
Right off to get the picnic sorted and bits into the carMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Back to a normal working day. No clubs after so can relax this evening.
Last night was lovely. So many of the families from old members turned up to say thank you to the leaders. End of an era I guess but a nice end.
Right off to get breakfast and shimmy the children alongMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Thank you @LeighofMar. Not very productive today once home as wanted to enjoy the last few hours of peace and quiet before the start of the holidays (at least for DD2).
She has had a good day and has now emptied her school bag and put things away. Will wash the pe uniform tomorrow and that can go away until next term or at least until we are looking at sizes of things later in the holiday.
XH has annoyed DD1 by posting about how wonderful his partners children are, with a picture of him in his best clothes at their school event. She commented that he seems to care more about them than his own children. And how he never came to any of their school events. I'm afraid she is very true and all 3 of them can see it. He will regret it one day when it is too late.
Anyway only 3 days left to go, most of my work left to do is dependant on others doing their bits first, so it is a bit of a waiting game.
Done some surveys today and am up to £11 now so will leave that there a little longer before I cash it in, in the hope there are a few more before the end of the month. Again I have been a bit lazy with these so need to get doing more.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Got home to find that the gate men had been and gone even though they were due to come round after I'd finished work. Somehow they had let themselves into the garden (even though you need a key to unlock the gates that they had fitted) and attached another latch to the gate. I had only asked for a handle so we can open the gates once unlocked. They have stuck this ugly mismatched latch on and it looks wrong. The handle on the other side is a chrome type handle and this latch that is next to it is a matt recycled type colour. I have emailed asking how they got in, as well as asking them if the work they have done can be undone without leaving a hole in the gate. Wish I'd been here to stop them.
I was asked at work if I would like to up my hours from 22 to 27 in Sept. I admit that I was hoping for 30 and for the extra hours to be in admin. It looks like I will be a type of dinner lady as no one else really wants the job. I guess I cant complain as it is extra hours, but no sure it is enough for the work coach.
Not sure why I'm being so negative today as I've got extra hours and a finished gate which was the aim - just not as I expected I suppose. On a positive only 2 more days at work.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

OK so I just remembered that I have cctv lol. I have just watch the gate mans helper jump the fence several times to gain access to the other side. He was here at 10 not after 1 when we arranged.
I have still not received anything back from the main guy. I have been really impressed with him until todayMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Woke up to an apology email from the main guy. He will be mending the fence and getting it to the way we want it. He will also be having a word with the other guy about jumping fences.
Right 2 days to go. Today is DD1 and DS's last day. One has to go fancy dress (found out yesterday) and the other is non uniform. DD2 will be home and possibly meet her friend for a swim later in the day.
As for me we have an event at work for staff and outside agencies which I said I will go to. I have however decided not to go to the end of term bits tomorrow so come 12.30 tomorrow that is me done.
Right must go wake the older 2 up for the last time this termMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
