My family are all long since dead - so I've had Christmas on my own for probably around 15 years now.
Welcome to the real world - sh*t happens, people die, though on the positive side as a result of being on my own and having to be self reliant for everything this whole pandemic business is not really affecting me at all.

Hi Clive,
Hope you enjoyed the Christmas dinner and managed to speak with family or friends - maybe the mate down the road, or even you could meet up with him outside (or as rules permit where you are).
Virtual hugs and wishes for a cheery time ahead.0 -
Happy Christmas Clive! I hope lunch was nice and I hope some sort of pudding or chocolate has supplemented it! It's a lovely reaction to seeing your niece and her daughter, shows how much you love them both. The day is nearly over...look after yourself. XMarch 2020 - 21k of debt; September 2020 - 14k of debt. Good morning Clive,
I hope you are feeling a bit more cheery this morning and can go outside to do something.
In any Tier, you can meet your support bubble, or childcare bubble. If you don't have a support bubble, you can still form one.
You can also meet one other person outside, and go outside for excercise. Essential shops are also open.
It's is good that you recognise how you feel and share your feelings rather than bottling everything inside. Try to discuss how you are feeling with someone close.
Even if nothing else, take a stroll round the block, or to the shops to just buy a pint of milk or daily newspaper. Even just the sunlight and seeing others go about their normal business can be uplifting.
Stay safe! 🙂2
