I've never had christmas on my own before, and its awful. I was fine until my niece sent me pics of her 4 yr old opening her presents. not usually one to show my feelings but now I'm so sad. it just goes to show doesnt matter what you got in life. you need your family.

If you are on your own, do you have a support bubble?2

Why haven't you formed a Christmas Bubble with someone? Not too late to pop round and see a friend or go fro a walk as it's a lovely day outside.0

It's not easy is it. Keep warm.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

no I haven't formed a support bubble. I didn't realise how hard this would be. I've stopped crying. but my head feels full of pressure. I feel kinda strange. I just want my family.0

yes. I'll maybe phone my mate up the road. hes had it tough. lost his g/f in april. and his son in november. I have to admit I was surprised how this kinda got to me all at once.usually so forward looking and positive. and then bang! it was seeing pics of my neices 4 yr old undoing her presents that done it.0

It's an emotionally charged time of year anyway, don't be ashamed of your feelings - they're feelings and we all have them.
I'm on my own this year as someone I know tested positive for the virus last week and I saw them the day before - but I'm just treating it like any other day! I know that's not easy for everyone.
Reach out to someone if you're feeling so sad that you can't distract yourself, otherwise there are support groups dotted about everywhere. I'm currently watching House MD and playing some dumb mobile games.0
