    Is there a dress code?
All my dressy stuff is already in storage in friends' loft and I wouldn't want to lower the tone.

You need to have something ready to wear for when we all jump into the pool.
  • Hope it's a heated pool, need warmth if I'm diving in!

I've hired in a firm to set up a casino, that's in the annexe so you'll need a coat to walk the 500 metres across the formal gardens to get to that. Be careful walking back, it's easy to trip and fall into the ha ha as the wall I built fell down.
I wonder if the buyers of your house raised enquiries about the annexe to establish whether it is suitable for use as a dwelling so as to evidence a claim for multiple dwellings relief for stamp duty land tax?  That saving might offset the likely damage to be done to the swimming pool by the impact of guests' hard hats against the dodgy concrete.

Great, I will be there.  I will bring a bottle.
Glad you can make it, I wanted to tell you about a wheeze that is going to save my buyers £90k on stamp duty if they complete by 31st March ;-)

Ahh, so thats why I get thrown out of pool parties.
  • You should have just broke the fins off the fan and sellotaped them to cover the gap, would have saved using your helpful builder; this is a money saving site after all.

  • What's the plan for food ?
I'm sure you'll need something to soak up all that alcohol ! 😆
I'd suggest cheese & biscuits + similar nibbles
