I am sitting by the pool, sipping champagne and demolishing the caviar canapés. I did wander into the casino earlier but frankly it was a bit tacky, what with a naked Badger chewing his chips and smearing tomato ketchup all over the roulette table.7

Announcement over house Sonos system : can everyone make their way to the ballroom, the champagne buckets just being loaded up.

What a night! Happy New Year everyone! It was not my red wine in the carpet! I'm in the East Wing on the champers, watching you all on the CCTV that may or may not point into neighbouring property.Does anyone need a kitchen design tearing apart?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I got lost in the fog!
Sat nav said I was getting close, but then the road seemed to end in the middle of a field. My way was barred in every direction by Japanese Knotweed and vicious briars and parts of the track began to subside when I stood on them. It was a bleak and scary place!
A cold mist rolled down from the hills and I began to feel most uneasy....Was this 'The North' that people spoke of in hushed tones? Far off, some church bells rang. They seemed to be saying "Turn around Dave and get the hell out of here while you still can...Crashy's Great Downturn is nigh!"So I put the Allegro into first, scarpered back home, moved all my savings into bitcoin and breathed a huge sigh of relief.Phew!

Man I got a hang over, well done everyone. Shame I didn't catch @Bowelhead at the party, love to see a glimpse of their crystal balls
I could swear I saw Crashy at the party by himself in the corner muttering something to himself, something about a house price crash and the world will end"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Great party, thanks @Mutton_Geoff for organising it. Are you sending your buyers a list of the breakages / damages? Don’t forget the stain on the shag pile carpet. I see that @Doozergirl has posted an alibi for that.2

Well done for the party, it was a blast, managed to see Doozergirls building skills in person, they managed to refit a kitchen in a night just for the hell of it"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
