Received County Court Claims form

I emailed my defence statement as per the instructions. Was wondering if there was a reason not to use the same Money Claim Online portal to submit it that was recommended for the Acknowledgement of Service? Just as it could automatically upload the statement to the file without any clerical input at the other end. Just a thought, not important. Thanks.0

Bargepole posted about this topic several years ago linked in the newbies thread
The CCBC don't allow uploads , we believe that they should do , same as popla , but they don't , put a complaint in to your MP about it , they can take it up with the Justice secretary
The low character count and destroyed formatting reported by Bargepole does not help , shame we cannot drag them into the 21st century !!3 -
Thanks Redx, it is a shame.1

SAR reply received, with plenty of information that I'd lost in a computer glitch a couple of years ago. Nice.
The Court has acknowledged receipt of the Defence Statement.
Waiting for the next stage.2 -
You know what that will be as it is all laid out in the NEWBIE link - Know what happens and when.JasonHar1 said:SAR reply received, with plenty of information that I'd lost in a computer glitch a couple of years ago. Nice.

And know what happens if you don't receive anything in the time you expect it to. If say the DQ is lost in the post, and you don't realise, you lose2

I've received and returned the DQ. Received BW Legal's DQ today, they are open to mediation, which I declined in my DQ. Under the number of witnesses, including yourself, to give evidence, they have put 0. Does that really mean that they do not intend to give evidence? seems strange.

I wouldn't worry about it. BWL won't be sending any of their employees. But they may send a freelancing newly qualified legal, scratching around for work experience, not yet having a proper job.JasonHar1 said:I've received and returned the DQ. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

They will not have any witnesses
Does not mean evidence cannot be presented
You need to read more court threads, so you can see this is usual practice3
