After getting nowhere with vendors solicitors; ignoring emails from our solicitor, the estate agents, not returning phone calls (it transpires they don’t have much of a reputation locally). 

Other half did some digging at land registry and spoke to a lovely lady who talked him through raising a query. This was dealt with in 5days and they have agreed they made a mistake on the title plan. 

All resolved. 

Now for the issue that the vendors solicitor STILL haven’t responded to initial enquiries raised on 4 jan... but that’s for another thread!
