If you have already submitted your WS, you could try sending in a replacement providing you send a copy to the claimant.1

An authentic time and date stamp on photographs is superimposed by the camera software. Manually adding them opens up the question of authenticity. How could anyone confirm their accuracy?rajon said:I just realised none of the my evidence images have a date stamp, is it sufficient to add them next to the exhibits on the sheet or would this not be accepted? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I am yet to submit yet my WS. I realised my deadline to file the document i intend to rely one is on the 3rd of march but my WS statement deadline is 17th of march.Le_Kirk said:If you have already submitted your WS, you could try sending in a replacement providing you send a copy to the claimant.
these photos were taken closer to the time of the parking event but have no date stamp. Do you think it would be better to take new photos with date stamp or use the current ones at hand with no date stamp? the photos meta data does say the original date.Umkomaas said:

Digital images have time and date, and sometimes location information embedded in the metadata.
Have a look at the original images on your device, and interrogate (or learn how to interrogate) the metadata contained within the image "Properties."
You could then send that as a supplementary WS with say the thumbnail image and image number, and the metadata for each image.
You could also see if you can open the properties of the images you have sent. As long as you know how to access it, you can explain it to the judge. "If the claimant took the trouble to open the image properties and look at the metadata they would have seen the time and dates tamps contained within. It is reasonable to assume that a company reliant on images as evidence would know how to do this."I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

i have taken screen shots of the meta date which include name, date and even google maps image with location. I will accompany these with each relevant image in exhibit section of WS.Fruitcake said:Digital images have time and date, and sometimes location information embedded in the metadata.

this may be a daft question but just wanted to be sure. the deadline for 3rd is for sending the document i intend to rely one, is this just all the evidence which i have? and i should definitely wait closer to the WS deadline (march 17th) to submit the WS?0

What exactly do the court instructions say? Are you confusing a Witness Statement and a Court Bundle? When is your hearing?Jenni x0

Indeed, please show us the exactg wording. Paraphrasing can hurt!1

That bit doesn't make sense! Has the court sent you a letter with two different sets of date? Normally "everything you intend to rely in" is the witness statement, evidence and summary costs assessment and must be submitted 14 days before the hearing date.rajon said:

Para 2 and 3. I assumed Para 2 meant to send in my evidence and Para 3 meant to send in my witness statement to the court and and claimant.
