Never mind the fridge light, who is responsible for changing the OP’s nappy?
    That's unkind.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Actually its not UNKIND because when the tenants rent increases as a result of ones petty actions. The nappy will be soiled every month afterwards the increased rent is due.

This reminds me of when my MIL told me her fridge had stopped working. I asked her if she'd changed the bulb, yes it was just the bulb.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

When I buy a new fridge, I always keep the bulb from the duff one. I have 5 bulbs if you are near Dorking, but
we are in tier 3 .
  • Wait until Christmas Day and then make an emergency call to the landlord ?....... No please don't !

I suppose so, but so is the entire thread really, which understandable don’t you think?

I mean really, does no-one want to take responsibility for anything these days and automatically look for someone else to take the blame and fix things?  (A daft generalisation I know, but you get my point).

But I don’t want to upset any delicate sensibilities so I take it all back and apologise.
    Happy Christmas.
