Shocking that your LL doesn't do a regular inspection of the fridge and has allowed this to happen. Thoughts and prayers to you my friend.I suggest speaking to a solicitor, get them to issue a letter demanding action and be prepared to escalalte to court to get a new bulb fitted and compensation for the inconvenience and stress that it has caused.5

I was thinking that myself lol
Although I was also able to slam head on desk at kinger's comment lol0 -

This reminds me of when my MIL told me her fridge had stopped working. I asked her if she'd changed the bulb, yes it was just the bulb.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

When I buy a new fridge, I always keep the bulb from the duff one. I have 5 bulbs if you are near Dorking, but
we are in tier 3 .2 -
It's your insurers problem to sort out.You do have fridge light insurance, don't you? If not, now would be the time to start thinking about it.8

I mean really, does no-one want to take responsibility for anything these days and automatically look for someone else to take the blame and fix things? (A daft generalisation I know, but you get my point).
But I don’t want to upset any delicate sensibilities so I take it all back and apologise.
Happy Christmas.
