  • Forgive me if I'm missing something but I've spend 40 minutes searching over the forum for a POPLA appeal template referencing the latest BPA CoP V8. Every template I have found references a previous one. Where can I find appeal sections that reference for
    1) No evidence of Landowner Authority - the operator is put to strict proof of full compliance with the BPA Code of Practice
    2) Signage does not comply with the BPA Code of Practice and were not prominent, clear or legible from all parking spaces to form any contract with a driver
    3) Grace Period: BPA Code of Practice – non-compliance

that references the most up to date BPA CoP?

Surely I can't be the first person to be writing a POPLA appeal using these sections since January 2020??

Plus read the Popla decisions sticky thread , starting at the end and work backwards for up to 12 months , reading each post and checking that users thread , reading through their popla appeals and lifting the appropriate paragraphs about those categories

Once you have found the threads referenced by @Ralph-y and @Redx, if there are any points that refer to a previous version, just look up the latest version and change your appeal wording accordingly.
You can pick your version from here: -

There isn't one, why would there be unless someone has put theirs in POPLA Decisions to show what they put, using v8.
Surely I can't be the first person to be writing a POPLA appeal using these sections since January 2020??
You might be (certain section s may not have been shown here in full in any POPLA appeal yet) but POPLA Decisions is the place to look, from the final post, going backwards through 2020 outcomes.

Clearly it's simply going to be a matter of replacing the v7 quotes with the v8 quotes if they still support the point you want to make.  v8 doesn't support a consideration period any more so it might be when you read it, you drop that point.  I've no idea if that's the bit you are getting at but editing a POPLA appeal to suit is up to individual posters.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • @deejbk01 how are you going with your appeal? I have one from MET Parking from a similar time and I need to find a few hours of my day to read through all the newbie posts. I thought myself quite able to follow steps and advice but there really is a lot to take in.
