Camping last weekend was brill, nice to be sociable with old friends. Really tiring though! We’re camping again this weekend, I’m turning into a freckle 🌞

    Money wise,
£60 on camp fees and contribution to food - covers both weekends and will need spends as there’s a camp bar 😁
£300 towards trip to Switzerland in October
£30 ski trousers for Switzerland (reduced from £120!)
£75 towards wedding accommodation in September
£511 for car service and new brake discs 😱 we’ve paid £150 each and the rest from joint savings
Feeling rather skint now 😂 I’m meeting my sisters tomorrow for lunch but other than that I’m going to try to keep bank holiday spends low

have a lovely jubilee wannabes xx

Happy June everyone!! I don’t think much happened in May but I will still have a run through of goals 😃

OPs averaging £550pm in order to meet 1&3 yr targets (sub £100k and sub £75k)
    January £625 🍏
    feb £300🍋
    march £660🍏
    April £630🍏
    May £665 🍏🍏
    June £630 🍏

    Average £585 😀
mortgage is now starting £105 so sub £100k is feeling closer! I need to find another £90 to be at the half way mark for the year 🤔

Savings are looking good, a bit of toing and froing but £75 up on last month And 86% of target 🍏

    House projects-
we still have a hole in the drive. We’ve had 3 weekends away this month so progress has been pretty slow.

Potatoes are looking good, everything else is a bit slow and steady. I’ve put some feed around the veg to help it along. We’ve got an army of lovely foxgloves from last years bee bombs. Front garden needs attention, it’s turned into sticky weed city!

Eco swaps- my bike is showing 799 miles, most of which is active travel which is fantastic! I’m so excited every time it ticks over.
We took part in the great big plastic count and logged 64 pieces in a week. Biggest culprit is soft plastic.

Work - feeling positive about work. I’ve had a bit of a light bulb moment which I’m hoping will help. I should find out about my fellowship application this month 🤞🤞🤞

I feel I’ve been more active recently, lots of cycling and walking. I cycled to a gym class on Wednesday, nice to catch up with people, it’s been months!! Im still trying to push myself to be social but balanced with time for me. Spent time with sisters yesterday which was nice and off camping later today.

Enjoy the rest of the bank holiday all x

OP £20 today as sin money. We’ve had a spendy few days- meal out Thursday, food festival, cinema and go outdoors yesterday- but I’ve not paid a penny! It’s either come from joint or T has paid- the OP takes us to £650 for the month 😀

Joint account looking healthy so put a bit in our savings. We do need to do a big shop and next month the increased gas and electric dd kick in.

Aiming for no spends today- going to potter at home. Our neighbour made us  a giant cake because T helped her with a job, but we also made cake the day before. Basically got a lot of cake to eat and no boys here to help, it’s a tough job but someone’s got to do it 🍰

Happy pay day!! I’ve had a full on week and have loads to do on my day off. I’ve already been to the dentist, plastic free lady and supermarket. Got chiropractor this afternoon and need to sort out some volunteering and find the kitchen from under its mess! I’ve got another ONS survey to do for a £10 voucher so shouldn’t forget that one.

Money shuffled £250 into savings. I think I withdrew £225 to cover the car last month so at least it’s right direction even if not by much! Youngest passport has come back today so we are going to look at ferry prices for summer so may be withdrawing the same money again soon!

Have a good weekend wannabes x
