    Good morning,
I haven't had a £2.00 coin for ages, I think partly because everywhere is asking for card payments and partly because I'm being frugal. Anyone else had this problem?
    Hello everyone,
Katie, I had this very problem (on both counts), but I think I'm going to have to start using cash again and brave the self-service points in shops which I hate but I want the £2 coins!
Managed to get my hands on one plain but beautiful £2 coin in the change from my Nanna's shopping (she still pays cash!) so I'm off the mark! :) xxx

Maybe we should start anther thread to run alongside this one ... to keep cash usage going. I paid cash the other day and the woman on the till looked at me with complete contempt. She also gave me far too much change - I’m only 47 but it scares me that the younger generation can’t work out change from £20!

I desperately needed washing powder so sent the children to the local shop. They came home with a plain £2 coin in my change!

I also have the same problem. Only spending at the moment is an online food delivery. Which doesn't produce any.
    I should email S@insburys suggesting that adding a new line - £2 coins 🤪

Won £2 on a scratch card, so another coin for the pot. Shame the £2 jackpot didn’t have more zeros on end of it
Yes, that is a shame. Did you double your money? Or break even?

7 more plain coins potted. 2 in my change and then won £10 on a scratchcard so asked for it in coins.

Glad to have made a good start as another lockdown might make it  trickier to get hold of them again but I will keep plodding on.

    Stay safe all
👏 7 coins - well done. That is nearly 5% of your target.
