A total of 10 coins, all plain, for me in May. An improvement on last month! 
I think my target is a tad ambitious but I will persevere and see if I can at least match last years target of £250.

Keep going. They are becoming more regular in change. I am trying to buy my groceries with mostly cash at the moment to help me budget. It annoys the till cashier immensely having to handle money and OMG get my change from the cash draw. 
We need to keep cash alive. Saw 2 young lads pay a £2 bill in £land on a debit card. What's the betting in 10-15 years time they have no concept of handling money and budgets

I know, I would sooner pay cash for things you know where you are. I used a self service till this week, deliberately paying with a £20 note hoping for £2 coins but none came. I will keep trying 🤞

You rarely get a £2 from self service, they keep them. Keeps the overall change down. Use a till with a cashier. They literally cannot be fussed counting £1 coins, so I always get £2 where they have them
