I had £20 in plain coins, but the washing machine broke down & we had to go to the launderette. Helpful son who sorted me a handful of change was in fact raiding my sock! The tenners have been relocated & so has the sock. Time to set up a bag in my tub of seedling mix, I think...

Went into two shops, could have obtained a possible 3 coins but alas, not one popped out. Grrrrrr!

Dig for Victory, sorry to hear that your £2 coins had to be used at the laundrette.

Have you got an empty washing tablet container. If I was going to hide them? I would put them in the washing tablet container under the kitchen sink or in a container in the cleaning cupboard, somewhere where my family never venture. 🧹🧽🧼 or in a pair of boots at the bottom of your cupboard 🥾stuff a pair of old socks on top
