Threatening letters from TV Licensing

TVL/Crapita record keeping is garbage - my daughter used my home address when she set up to pay for her license over 20 years ago in rented accommodation because her bank account was still associated with this address - she left home finally in 2007 to live in a house she had purchased . She has since got married and moved house several times ,each time updating the licensed premises and informing her bank.

However ,every year we still get a letter outlining her DD payments for the following year - addressed to her maiden name and our address !

She has contacted them several times to get it corrected . A couple of years ago ,I even returned the letter unopened with " person moved away ,now married and no longer living here " - no effect.

When she opened it this time ,the letter even thanked Miss J "Bloggs" for paying for the TV license of Mrs J "Smith" .

I suspect that after I'm long gone and the house has been sold , the new owners will still get the letters!
