Although I have not yet received an email response from IAS, I just logged on to the portal. It is now showing as:
Appeal Status: Appeal Allowed.Operator Conceded
"The Operator conceded this appeal due to Fresh Evidence Provided."

I am glad I was sat down on reading that this was a victims win against sip and the IPC IAS appeal system
The claimant conceded , well done !

Well done, you WON an IAS appeal - that is rare!
However I do feel during lockdown when PPC staff may well be furloughed, now is a good time to try IAS appeals as long as people know it's actually a kangaroo court and they are only doing it to try to force a 'no contest' backtrack, as happened here. I reckon they conceded due to not enough staff working who know about IAS.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just rec'd the official email from IAS yesterday:
"Dear ,
Thank you for your appeal. Due to further information SiP Parking Limited has confirmed they will no longer be pursuing the matter and the parking charge has been cancelled.
Yours Sincerely,
The Independent Appeals Service"
I agree with @Coupon-mad, I think I was the lucky 5% purely due to the timing of Xmas, bank holiday, new year, lockdown 3.0...2 -
I hope newbies see this and give IAS appeals a go whilst PPCs are understaffed. They deserve it and the IAS is useless, so let's use it while we can.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
