Oh Asb. Hugs. I’m really sorry you’ve had all that in one go.I’m so glad I’m prepay meter, no scary direct debit stuff. My usage costs seems to be the same so far.I had to go past my favourite M&S garage and got a lovely pile of yellow sticker stuff. I also popped to my 2 fav charity shops and got another gift and the slide bolts I need. They are new in pack and were only 50p, they’re £7 to buy new! Amazing as I can now secure my gate properly but they were pretty far down my priority list!Christmas tags were made today and are on the wrapped gifts. Yay!Life happens, live it well.11

I’ve just worked out my finances for November. I’m a little shocked at my spending when I can see it all in one place on my CC! I did as normal but seeing it on there really bothers me! It’s an excellent tool to focus my mind.So I will continue with it for sure.Food budget; £120 22 Oct - 19 Nov. I have vouchers for money off in Waitrose and £2:50 club card voucher. For the first time I’ve allowed £100 for petrol. I normally spend £50 tops but it’s gone up and I have sick parents who may need help. If I don’t spend it I’m going to pop it in the garden fund.Im almost at my target of loan over paying. Fingers crossed I can manage it. I’d be so pleased with myself.Life happens, live it well.10

Morning all
Day at the races yesterday, DS1 arranged for his brother to come home to go with us and we havent seen him since August so that was lovely. I do feel rather guilty because I spent £55 in the end which wasnt planned. However, we decided right at the beginning of this frugal journey that we wanted to live our lives and make memories whilst still living frugally, so now I just need to shuffle things around and get back on track.
DS2 is still with us so I want to plan something nice for tea, and I have to go in to work for a bit this afternoon.11 -
Time for a change!!
eBay is beckoning.
We have lived here for over 15yrs, having moved from a quite a large house to a smaller house.
The Move:- I packed everything, put it into boxes, and its contents were recorded on the computer. So far so good. The removers estimated one large lorry would be enough as we had sold the furniture with the house, but no, we had to use our 30' horsebox as well.
One bedroom in the new house was designated to store all these boxes. Boxes lined the walls almost to the ceiling. The problem is 90% of the boxes are still unopened.
I have never sold anything on eBay so would be grateful for a few tips especially on how to send the packages by post/carrier - who to use, how to get organised, the pitfalls, and any of those tips you generally don't find written down.
At the moment any extra money/income would be helpful, as well as the space.

@zafiro1984 remember to use any free listings. I used a parcel company called Parcel2go online and found them cheaper than the post office. Might be worth trying on FB local first to save yourself in charges. I gave up with eBay as the charges usually meant lots of effort for very little gain most of the time. Good luck!10

Good luck!Agreed.I used to sell quite a lot on ebay especially with the cheap listings but now only sell on Fb Be prepared for timewasters & some frustration/disappointment on whichever site you choose. The exception is that if you have more niche items then ebay can make considerably more..10

Facebook market place is free don’t forget. I’ve had a few great things from it.Shopping today was £21 (rounded up) so remaining budget is £99. I got a massive bag of spuds for £1:60. I hope they’re tasty.Life happens, live it well.8
