Butter, try Farmfoods. £1.10 for half a pound. Slightly smaller than the other supermarkets, but only by a few grams.

If you look in lidl sometimes they have the double size butter which is cheaper again per 250g than the normal one.

Just wish we had a FarmFoods near us.  They seem to do quite a lot of good deals.

I paid £1:20 in Aldi - it’s £1:60 in our Tesco. They’ve dropped loads of ranges in out Tesco which probably didn’t help xx

Oh thinking about it - ours has only just opened so maybe it’s special prices.

Thanks for letting us know about farm foods and butter, there is one nearish my dds so may ask her to drop In for me. I prefer butter to marg, but as its more expensive I'm more economical with it so it lasts about the same amount off time. I still use marg when making cakes etc though.

Butter is £1.10 at Farmfoods. It's also very nice. Thanks for the info about editing. Just realised I am reading this thread backwards, so other people have already posted about Farmfoods. What a numpty I am!

Yes.  if you have written the message there will be a settings button on the top right that allows you to edit or delete the message.  I like it.  Forums aren't as popular as they were in the naughties - FB groups have taken over, but I like the forum format.
