  • I had the same automated response from PPL but later the same day had another reply actually about my request. It then took them a further week to get back to me with the details.
  • Same here, expect a standard response that signposts you to their website to access photos of the vehicle.

Re your defence; if you paid the correct amount for parking AND you received a ticket AND displayed it AND inputted you VRM (if required) correctly then you should say so and state that proof will be given at witness statement stage.  I hope you still have the ticket!
I still have a ticket paid £3.50 but they issued PCN for ticket expired (overstayed).

Then your defence will have to be about lack of grace period, synchronisation between ANPR camera and PDT or some other vicissitude such as a puncture or breakdown (obviously with evidence, if true).

The facts as known to the Defendant:

    2.    It is admitted that the Defendant was the registered keeper of the vehicle but liability denied. The Defendant had paid the fee (£3.50) for parking on 11/10/2019 but not known to breach any parking regulation at Shaws Passage. The Defendant paid the correct fee for parking. The defendant received the ticket and displayed it correctly. The proof will be given on the witness stage.

    3. Accordingly, it is denied that the Defendant breached any of the Claimant's purported contractual terms, whether express, implied, or by conduct.

The proof will be given on the witness stage.   Evidence of having purchased a ticket will be provided at Witness Statement stage.

Maybe just make the changes above.

How many minutes?  This should be mentioning in #3, if you are relying on a lack of a fair grace period.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
