You didn't receive a SAR, you submitted a SAR and you received your data.  This data will be useful to you when it comes time to write your witness statement.

Sorry! One more thing I also selected contest for court's jurisdiction. Do I need to do something for it?

Why did you contest the court's jurisdiction? Have you paid the £100 fee associated with that?

No I haven't paid it. Do I have to now or just leave it? I was not aware of it.

Do you know what it means?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Just state in your covering email attaching the signed & dated defence that you ticked 'contest jurisdiction' in error and do not intend to do that.

    Email to: CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk

Email title: Claim no: xxxxxx Defence

In the body of email start:            IN THE COUNTY COURT,

UREGENT RE CLAIM :XXXXX PLEASE FIND MY DEFENCE ATTECHED,

PLEASE NOTE: I TICKED 'CONTEST JURISDICTION' IN ERROR AND DO NOT INTEND TO DO THAT.

The facts as known to the Defendant:

    2.    It is admitted that the Defendant was the registered keeper and the driver of the vehicle registration number xxxx but liability is denied. The Defendant paid the correct fee (£3.50) for 4 hours parking on 11/10/2019 at Shaws Passage. The Machine issued the ticket and the defendant displayed it correctly on the dashboard of the car. Evidence of having purchased a ticket will be provided at the Witness Statement stage. The Defendant is and was unaware of any purported ‘overstay’ at Shaw Passage on 11/10/2019. The Defendant has struggled to make an informed decision regarding responding to the allegations in the particulars of claim, due to the complete lack of evidence.  The Defendant puts the Claimant to strict proof of any breach of clearly advertised terms. The Defendant has submitted a Subject Access Request to the Claimant on 9/12/2020 and received on 16/12/2020 .

Please check for modify the defence if we required? Shall I keep that SAR line or not?
