As well as zog it's worth going onto utility point website and doing a quote for gas only, they're also very competitive. I've been with UP in the past and can recommend. I'm actually going with zog this time round as I missed the UP price which doesn't turn up on comparison sites for some reason, there wasn't much in it tho. The advantage with UP is you get an online account portal for meter reads, statements, balances etc, where as there doesn't appear to be with zog.
I'd avoid Utility point if you don't want hassle getting credit back when you leave. It 3 weeks and 6 days since my final bill, and even though they tell me repayment has been escalated still no credit.

Just had my renewal invite from Zog at day 49.  £1.70 pa dearer than the cheapest on CA, which is BG Evolve, and £12 more than current.

    What's CA? Thanks.

Consumer Association (Which?), I think, or perhaps Citizens Advice.

I would also avoid Utility Point I switched suppliers in September and still waiting for over £400’s worth of credit :(

Zog prices increased today.  Been watching them closely as daughter's day 49 is tomorrow when she will get the invite.  New tariff still cheapest but +£24 on Mercury 12 v41.

Glad I got my fix when I did. Makes a change to be on the "right" side of the market.
