Best Gas only suppliers

I'm assuming they use the actual last day of the month, regardless of length, as my reading was estimated for the 30th November.

Another mention for Zog. I have been with them for several years now & whilst it's a fairly basic service in terms of website etc. they have been reliable & cheap (hence why I have stayed rather than changing suppliers).
 I don't know why but the Cheap Energy Club comparison doesn't show all their tariffs nor their feedback properly so use something else.

I'm with Gulf for gas only. When I joined in late Feb. on 1 year fix they were very competitive and I haven't had any issues so far with accurate bills plus they adjust the DD monthly with the aim of zero balance at the end of the contract.
Don't know if they are still competitive tho'

No Online quote option for Gas only and when potential new domestic customers ask on social media about Gas only Octopus always answer that they do not offer Gas only ......

zog - Excellent customer service, easy to read bill. I've just returned to them for 2nd time. Only left when the fixed term ended and the offers wasn't competive at the time.

Another Zog, back with them this year.

Only very minor niggle is cut off date for meter readings, end of month seems to be critical, submit a day before means you get one days estimated reading

That said the estimates are spot on & not some fantasy number

As well as zog it's worth going onto utility point website and doing a quote for gas only, they're also very competitive. I've been with UP in the past and can recommend. I'm actually going with zog this time round as I missed the UP price which doesn't turn up on comparison sites for some reason, there wasn't much in it tho. The advantage with UP is you get an online account portal for meter reads, statements, balances etc, where as there doesn't appear to be with zog.
