Currently with So energy for my gas. It's coming to end of my contract so i was hoping to consider alternatives. But i am searching for gas only so most of the suppliers i have found either seem to do dual fuel or electricity only, no option to select gas only. I've checked bulb and others. BG do do gas only but are not so competitive for me.
Ideally looking for recommendations as to if anyone has had any luck using switch companies that offer cashback? For gas only.
I currently pay by DD if that makes any difference.
TIA.

Zog was cheapest gas-only deal I found. Transfer went smoothly but as I've only just joined I can't comment on billing etc.Do bear in mind that if you join them during the high consumption season your direct debit will be higher than the annual average quoted on the switch site. This is so that you start and remain in credit, which is fair enough for such a low price. They will adjust your payment down in the "low" season.1

Got my first (estimated) bill from Zog, today. Detailed and clear. Estimate date was just over a week ago but looks about right compared to reading today.

Estimate date was just over a week ago but looks about right compared to reading today.Yes, I can see they use month end, rather than joined date, for billing. I've not gone down the separate supplier route before, so I'll have to get used to having two meter read days a month. Having just retired as a meter reader, it'll be a bit of a busman's holiday!Edit: Do Zog normally send a meter read reminder? I didn't get one but that may be because I'd only been with them for a few days.
