  • @determined_new_ms l have a lot of experience, my nan was a seamstress before she married my grandad and my mother and aunt are sewers as well. Well done on persevering!  There is always the odd project that is a pain to get over the line.

Quiet day today. Been very sleepy. Hope l'm not coming down with something 🙄 x

Hi Just can't have this threat slipping on to page 2. Had a much needed day off today, so did a bit of tidying up, went for a run and did some shopping. Am still needing to fix the foot pedal on my very vintage sewing machine, then I'll join the sewing club.

    Morning all :)
    Raining again here :(
Never mind, I managed to get the dog out for a decent walk before it started. I have also:
Eaten blueberry compote (made at the weekend from bargainous blueberries) with breakfast
Cleaned the bathroom while OH hoovered the bedroom o:)
Dusted the bedroom furniture (OH doesn't see dust :D)
Hoovered top lot of stairs (now that doesn't get done very often!)
Put some stuff away, more to do
Put some mince and veg on to cook to make a pie filling.
    This afternoon I will:
Write final Christmas card (I hope!) and post it, using a free stamp from RM surveys
    Make mince and veg pies
Tidy up dining room as it has become a dumping ground
Pack an ebay parcel ready for posting.
Lunch will be hummus and salad sandwiches and dinner will be more of the chicken curry I made yesterday.
Hope everyone is having a good day :)
