@determined_new_ms l have a lot of experience, my nan was a seamstress before she married my grandad and my mother and aunt are sewers as well. Well done on persevering! There is always the odd project that is a pain to get over the line.

Hi Just can't have this threat slipping on to page 2. Had a much needed day off today, so did a bit of tidying up, went for a run and did some shopping. Am still needing to fix the foot pedal on my very vintage sewing machine, then I'll join the sewing club.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Raining again here
Never mind, I managed to get the dog out for a decent walk before it started. I have also:Eaten blueberry compote (made at the weekend from bargainous blueberries) with breakfastCleaned the bathroom while OH hoovered the bedroom
Dusted the bedroom furniture (OH doesn't see dust
)Hoovered top lot of stairs (now that doesn't get done very often!)Put some stuff away, more to doPut some mince and veg on to cook to make a pie filling.This afternoon I will:Write final Christmas card (I hope!) and post it, using a free stamp from RM surveysMake mince and veg piesTidy up dining room as it has become a dumping groundPack an ebay parcel ready for posting.Lunch will be hummus and salad sandwiches and dinner will be more of the chicken curry I made yesterday.Hope everyone is having a good day
