    What’s TOMM? 😳

slow start for me today, once a month I’m crippled with the pain. Dog is eyeballing me so I will drag myself out at some point when the drugs kick in.
Finished a parcel last night which is great as that’s the heaviest so will save posting  at 2nd class. On a roll now - whilst I’m poorly I’ll do the less active stuff.
DS school has their Xmas jumper day today, but he didn’t see the point in buying a jumper to wear once. I doubt he’s the only one, being 13! Having just forked out £50 for some uniform I don’t mind. Sports top £25, school trousers £19 PE shorts £7 ☹️

    whats TOMM?
It's The Organise Mum Method - google if you're interested. But basically it's a way of keeping on top of housework and you do a different room each day for 30 mins Mon: lounge; Tues: bedrooms; Weds: hallway; Thurs: Kitchen and Friday you do a more through go at another room which rotates over a 8 week period.

I find it really helpful and my house looks much better since starting it and I only do 30 mins hw Mon-Fri

Ooh thanks 😊 I’ve been using Fly Lady but I’ve been wanting to be an organised mum for years!

I know this list is about the small things but today for me is about the big things. 2 years ago I sick from work with stress, had to leave a job as it was making me ill, credit card debt was piling up and I was not sure what to do. Then I crashed my car, crashed my finances, started working an other job, went for a DMP, got a UK drivers licence and today I got my citizenship confirmed. I've started paying my debt, I have enough money for a nice Christmas w lovely boys and a little bit of savings. Things actually could not be better.
That's awesome ditty! Congratulations on your citizenship (do you want it with Brexit and everything going on currently?! ) and getting your debts in order. I hope you all have a lovely Christmas x

It's good to get something which you have been meaning to do for a while.
Today I am working and it's double time do that will be good in January when I get the money.
No heating on during the day as DH is also working and DS2 is shopping most of the day.
I need to go food shopping for DS1 who is self isolating as his boss has tested positive. Two of them in a small portacabin.

    Hi all,

Can I join this thread please? I’ve been lurking on here for a while picking up all your tips!

I’ve spent the past few weeks having as many NSD as possible and resisting all the urges for takeout food and instead cooking homemade food and it would be nice to actually acknowledge what I’m doing is going to help me become DF

    Todays DFW plans are
Deliver a piece of Lego that I sold online for £100 (DS toy from 2 years ago, never opened and sat in the attic so sold it on fb)
I have set up a small printing business for extra cash - I have 2 outstanding orders which I need to do today
Saturday night is usually takeaway night but OH’s mum has made meatballs (OH raves about them) so we are going to pick up the extra she made for our dinner tonight
I’ve had confirmation of my wages this month (I work in sales and have variable commission) so will update debt repayment spreadsheet and calculate next months payments.
Then if I can face the attic again I’ll go up and see what other treasure troves of unopened presents are up there for me to list on fb 🤦‍♀️
