Pension Dashboard

And people will expect the impossible. Ie, that the Dashboard will be an accurate reflection of ALL of their pensions from day 1.AnotherJoe said:Another_Saver said:
It's hardly a unicorn. If pension transfers are possible, if we have Origo and open banking how hard can this really be? Government just need to get their !!!!!! in gear and deliver it.squirrelpie said:

If/when this scheme does go ahead, the first pension to be added will be the State pension. Then any public sector pensions.
As for the rest, the onus will be on the private/occupational pension providers to transfer the (correct) data to the scheme member's Dashboard. Expensive, and very time consuming.

Morning everyone.
I've been looking at trying to find some sort of all-in-one place to view all of my pensions, and came across The Pensions Dashboard programme, which lead me to here.
I can see no activity on the thread for about 10 months, so can I assume that the Pensions Dashboard never took off?
Also, if so, does anyone have any other way of logging and viewing all pensions together please?0 -
I just have them in excel but I do also have a free version of RetireEasy which pulls some stuff together.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

Thanks MallyGirl
I'll take a look, but on reading more on this forum, I don't think it's the right thing.
What i'm after, is an app (or website) where I can safely log all of my pension info, to then give me the projected monthly sum i'll recieve, when I retire in about 8-9 years, so I can see what i'm due0 -
I am guessing most people that have an interest use Excel (or a free equivalent like LibreOffice). But for that to be meaningful, you must of course already have accurate information on each of your pensions (current balances, accrued amounts, scheme rules, etc). Then you are in a strong position to model what you may be able to expect wen you retire in 8-9 years time.IanfromHants said:

The dashboard is still happening, currently expected some time in 2023.0

But don't hold your breath......jamesd said:The dashboard is still happening, currently expected some time in 2023.I can see the problem with this plan will be the expectation that, from day 1, people will be able to log onto a central hub and see the current values of ALL the pensions they ever paid into.Reality will be that the dashboard will only be as accurate as the information fed into it by previous employers.3 -
Without a crystal ball to project inflation and/or investment returns then that is unlikely to be an option. More of a summary of what you hold updated to reflect current values.IanfromHants said:

I agree. I doubt they will go as far as to make any predictions on what one may expect based on any accepted set of assumptions, and even if they did, those would likely be fairly meaningless.Thrugelmir said:

First data inputs 'expected' about 3 years from now, so nothing like the 'complete' version any time soon.jamesd said:The dashboard is still happening, currently expected some time in 2023.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1
