  • Hi all,
#79 reporting with today's OP of £1000 on my main residential mortgage (and some on my BTL - but didn't include that on my initial 2021 challenge.
Since my last post, a lot has changed in an incredibly positive way. My being out of a job amounted to all of one day before I began something else, so all being well I hope to really smash my target.

#25 reporting in, no OPs yet sadly. Mortgage didn't take effect until 29th January and first payment isn't until 1st March! I was sorely tempted to make a payment of the regular amount anyway and get a headstart, but we are really in need of furniture so had to be sensible.

  • #41 Another £50 OP thanks to you gov
Feb total £197.10- Thank you @julicorn
  • No 95 checking in again. The final planned payment has gone in today of £529.76, making a total overpayment of £1592.51 this month. The extra 29.76 is from extra in the budget after I'd filled all the budget categories up. I'm hoping to have a few more savings to drip feed in as the month goes on.

#117 coming in with another £150 bringing total Feb OP so far of £305.
Have a standing order set up for a few days after I get paid aswell so there will be more to come this month.  Will also see what I have left at the end of the pay month as some of that can go over aswell, see how flush we feel!
