  • I recently had flights cancelled to Malaga with Easy Jet, so i applied for a refund, they came back and said that because i used a voucher to partly pay for the flights i wasnt due a refund i could only claim a voucher back for the cost of the flights, can they do this? or should i go back and query this. I appreciate any comments, thank you.

I have a sneaky suspicion that they were trading as Flight Delay Claims Team. They are in the process of being prosecuted by Northampton Trading Standards. Ring them tomorrow for advice.

Please do not try and hijack an other posters thread.

Apart from being poor etiquette, it leads to confusion with posting by others advising on original post.

Great thanks for letting me know! I’ll give them ring, I did wonder if it’s the same people, after reading some news articles. I think it’s same address as well

Maybe I've missed something, there was a very large thread on this forum about the company based in Northampton.  It seems to have disappeared which is a great shame because it contained a wealth of information and had helped many people.

I'm assuming there's a good reason for it's absence, but as an information source it was invaluable.

Must be a good reason. I wonder if the Northampton company have turned the screws on MSE towers.

Won't push it because if there is something going on then this might get removed too. Just a shame because it was a great resource and had helped a lot of people.
  • Bad News - You will find that you have indeed "signed" a contract instructing them, which includes deep in their T&Cs, undertaking to pay their costs in the event of bla bla bla. People have ignored the requests for payment and indeed found themselves at the wrong end of CCJ judgements and with the bailiffs taking the telly out the door. Good news - this is apparently an offshoot of Flight Delay Claims Team in Northampton and they have consistently lost in Court when the people they pursue turn up and the Judge throws out their case. Indeed, Northampton Trading Standards have launched a criminal prosecution against the directors. Fairly Bad news - you may have to do a bit of research and internet legwork to see them off. First, see an article by Anna Tims in the Guardian (https://www.theguardian.com/money/2018/sep/27/flight-delay-team-claim-compensation-fees-contract)

Would it be possible to use "time machine" (I think thats what its called ;) ) type software to find the previous referred to thread?
Or could we get confirmation from MSE that this thread has been removed for legal reasons, ie ongoing court case?
I am surprised it has been removed, since its been in the public domain for many years.
If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Since we heard that their lawyers were no longer acting for them this would be even more surprising JP.
