Am I legally obliged to pay this bill, when I haven’t received any money?

which claim to be no win no fee so was supposably risk free.
I then stopped, as I didn’t have all the flight details because my friend booked it, and asked her to claim instead. (She actually went through tui website in the end, which was the right thing to do, but they took a while getting back to us.)
So I get loads of emails asking me to sign for this compensation I reckon about 60 odd, so I see this and just send them pictures of our flight details, I’m pretty sure I didn’t actually sign.
We then find out from tui that we wasn’t eligible because it was due to the weather so that’s fine.
I then get an email yesterday demanding £236 from compensation gb.
I say back to them, ‘on your website you say ‘no win no fee’ and I haven’t gotten any money so why have you charged me? They put ‘yes no win no fee subject to terms and conditions please pay promptly’
So what I wanted to know if I’m under any legal obligation to pay them? I’m pretty sure I didn’t sign, but if I did, it would have been that computer sign thing, so what would I have to do?
I’ve read some reviews on them, and they’ve done the same thing to other people, and they harass you to pay and increase the price if you don’t. I’m happy to ignore them, as long as I don’t end up with Bailiffs at the door!
What would you do?
Really appreciate any advice! Thanks

You need to read the contract you signed on your computer thing.
That will tell you if they have a basis for the fee.0 -
I definitely didn’t sign a contract, they just might have sent a box and I scribbled in it, but i don’t think I have0

There was probably also a tick box that you ticked saying have you read and agreed to terms conditions etc.

Thanks for your reply’s. So if I did, I have to pay, Even though they probably didn’t do any work for me?0

Yes. Claims companies don't typically do any work beyond popping a letter in the post.
They rely on you putting in all the effort, as you're the one with the information.0 -

You need to go back and review exactly what you did or didnt agree to0 -
Even if you agreed to "Terms and Conditions" that doesn't mean they're enforceable. But a company that behaves this way I'd say is quite likely to pursue you via the courts, or sell the 'debt' to another who will.
