I work for a small business. Although working at home is feasible, it's preferable to by both myself and my employer to be in the office. It's far harder to work effectively and efficiently from home. However, one person insists on ignoring the rules. We are in tier 2 and they have openly said they are going to see family…

In England
The fixed penalty fine is £200, reduced to £100 if paid within 14days.
The fine doubles for each additional breach uo to a maximum of £6,400.

But Large parties can be shut down by the police - with fines of up to £10,000.
If a fine is not paid you can be taken to court where the fine is unlimited.
Scotland, Ireland and Wales are different.
