    This sounds bloody awesome!!!!
It sounds more like a wind-up
  • It’s no wind up believe me! To be honest it’s not a great situation to be in with such a lack of communication about confirmation from the bank
  • No letter for me today and not going to call again as sick of being on the phone ages. Will transfer money to savings account with them and see what happens then the money is there if they need it back, they said it’s not a error when I spoke with them before but still would rather be cautious just in case.
  • That is exactly the same for me, I was told it is not a mistake and had that confirmed twice, I’ve noted the time and date as all calls are recorded! Mine will sit now in my savings until I either receive a letter or until after Christmas
  • I called them today because no post again and they reassured me it’s not a mistake several times and that it’s for all the overdraft charges I’ve paid over the 25 years Of banking with them Plus interest !! Merry flippin Xmas 😁
  • Wow that’s amazing! All I could get from them is that’s it’s mine! Overdraft charges!! I’d love to know how far back that has gone!!
  • Great news! Finally received a letter with confirmation today R132 is to do with a missed credit card payment dating back 9 years ago and the bank never informed me, this is a return of the charges and interest accrued since that date! Merry Christmas
  • Yay 😀 finally resolved.. you can spend it guilt free now! I’m still waiting
  • Indeed! Already clearing some bills !! The letter arrived in the post today so hopefully you will receive a letter very soon!
