  • Hi there,
I'm also in the same boat, an R132 payment has appeared in my account... To spend on Christmas presents or not?

    google found this...

TSB has handed some of its customers who were caught up in its IT meltdown in April 2018 an early Christmas present in the form of more compensation.

Several customers of the bank have reported to having received letters telling them they were entitled to payouts, despite having already received compensation several months ago.

  • I had the same, contacted the bank and they don’t know.  Anyone got an update?

You don't need an update the post above you tells you what it's for
  • I don’t think the amount they gave me was compensation it’s a LOT of money like I could buy a new car amount of money 💰. I’m thinking it’s a mistake.

Ah, well R132 for the IT messup would not normally be that amount - lucky you!
  • I have also had the same for quite a large amount, I have managed to speak to TSB and they are unable to provide any further info on this and have told me to call back at the end of the week. Initially they told me the payment was linked to Lloyds
  • I spoke to them today they said I am due a payment but probably not that much, they said it’s from when they were previously TSB before the Lloyds merger. They have had a few report of this from customers and have contacted the person who made the transfer to check the amount.  She said it wasn’t a loyal customer Christmas present lol.. I asked

    Pre-1995, really?!
  • I wasn’t a customer pre 1995 the only link I have is old loans dating around 2000’s which I had successful PPI claims against, be interesting to see where it goes! Shall keep you posted with my developments if you could do the same ?
