Maybe if it is a redress payment they are annoyed at you going into the branch in your jeans and think you should perhaps wear something a bit smarter

I wasn’t a customer pre 1995 the only link I have is old loans dating around 2000’s which I had successful PPI claims against, be interesting to see where it goes! Shall keep you posted with my developments if you could do the same ?
I wonder if they have been reviewing all the PPI cases under the Plevin court case. That found that in some cases, if the business was paid a lot of commission and it didn’t tell the consumer, it might have been unfair.

  • Hi all
well looks like a few have had these payments, mine was for £3000 so I called them and they said it wasn’t a error and letters can come out after the payments have gone in, they said that all
payments with the code I have are triple checked and is my money, still not convinced though so will hold tight and see if I get a letter. Anyone else had any luck ?
  • I had another message to Say look out for the post. I’ve been like a cat on a hot tin roof waiting for the postman who never came ☹️
  • I know I’m the same, keep me posted if you get a letter 👍

That article is almost a year old - edit: see you have already mentioned that. I myself, in December 2019 received money, just labelled TSB Redress. That was on top of compensation in February 2019.

I have current account with tsb. switched to them a few years ago from santander 123, when santander announced they were going to charge £5 for the 123 account. where as tsb was charging nothing. but if they are not going to pay me for using them, I shall look elsewhere.
