3 months after submitting my case I have just received the email below from POPLA  , do I just need to say that I am happy with the case I have submitted , not sure about the additional grounds as everything was mentioned on the original PDF I sent  .

"In November, POPLA decided to adjourn appeals because of the difficulties experienced by motorists and operators during the COVID-19 pandemic. Government restrictions are starting to lift, and we have decided to start considering appeals again

We are writing to you today because your appeal was put on hold and it is important you have a chance to submit any case details or evidence you wish to submit that you haven’t already. We already have the details that you have submitted to us during the appeal process, but you can add to or amend these details if you wish.

Within the next 21 days, would you please respond to this email and either:

    ·        Confirm you are happy with the case you have submitted; or

    ·        Provide any additional grounds of appeal or evidence you wish for us to consider.

We will start your case once we receive either of these. If we do not hear from you within the next 21 days, then your case will be started, and you won’t be able to submit any new grounds of appeal or evidence.

You have to decide if you believe every possible appeal point has been covered, or whether you have found something new you want to add.
Don't miss the opportunity to fine tune or improve what you have already submitted.

Thanks , only received the email message from POPLA this morning , would the original issuer of the ticket need to contact me aswell ( parking watch )  ? I have not heard from them since December when they rejected my original letter and provided me with the POPLA code.

if you have a read of the newbies thread it will explain that the PPC normally  comments on your POPLA appeal ... have you checked to see if there is anything on the POPLA site ?

@Ralph-y, I think that the process was paused at the time the victim submits their PoPLA appeal.

Now that PoPLA have restarted the process, they are asking if the appellant wants to update his appeal before it is considered by the PPC. I.e. we are not anywhere near seeing the PPC's submission yet.

At least, that's my understanding.  :)

No, I don't think so. Because the PPC will know nothing about the PoPLA appeal until the appellant either updates their appeal or confirms with PoPLA that they are happy with their earlier submission. Or of course the appellant does nothing and PoPLA send the appeal that they currently have to the PPC for comment.

So waiting in the hope of seeing something from the PPC might not be the best idea.
