Parking Ticket - First Point of Contact - Mention permission of the shop ?

Hi ,

I have read the Newbie guide but before using the template can anyone give me some advice.

Been issued a parking fine from Park Watch  , a large item was bought from a  shop and was told it would be easier to pull the car up at the back of the shop instead of dragging it to the car park .

About a week later was issued a fine  which included a photograph of the car with the boot open after  stopping for  less than 10 minutes .

Sadly cannot use the first option of contacting the shop as they are closed due to lockdown .

Should I add to the template that the driver was told by the shop to pull up at the back of the shop to load the item  . I have the receipts which shows items were purchased about an hour before the photos were taken.

Any help would be appreciated

    More or less

Just add a paragraph stating that the driver was given permission to park for a short time by the business so promissory estoppel applies , permission to park and receipts can be provided to showcproif if patronage

Bear in mind that shops reopen next week , so contact them too

Contact the shop, make sure that you get it in writing

Make sure, as advised by @Redx that you use the term "the driver" and do not make the mistake of saying "I".

Keeper followed by the name of the keeper. (Or hirer/lessee if using one of the hire/lease vehicle templates.)

Include the keeper's name, address and postcode, as requested.
Why would the keeper not do that? The PPC already has that info - they wrote to the keeper remember.

In any formal letter you put your address.  They already have that anyway.  The only reason you wouldn't need to put it under the keeper's name is if you are submitting this online and a previous page or box has already asked for the postal address (obviously)!
