Today I've had a good clean in the bathroom and kitchen, been for a couple of walks, one invoving a trip to the cinema to book 3 forthcoming films and pick up previously booked tickets for a 4th. Called in the leisure centre on the way back to book OH's swimming requirements for the next week.

Took a ladder into the polytunnel and removed the last of the tomatoes up in the roof area, then dismantled their climbing frame.Heard a noise in the yard and found a gentleman loading his car with log rounds from the recent felling we had here. He was entitled to them, being a relative of someone who paid, and he'd come today because the government said he could go out again! Still wondering how he thought driving 6 miles to pick up some wood from an empty yard would've put him or anyone else in danger if he'd done it last week, or the week before. Anyway, glad to see the back of some log rounds, because they're poor quality and I don't need the exercise, dealing with them all.

Today I did no work, bought three toilet brushes for our new home and got my
second Covid vaccination/placebo. I wore heels to the clinic because I don't get out much (!) and seriously regretted it when I went to the shop afterwards.Living the lockdown dream.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Not much today.. I mean I worked (and it was a full on, extended day) but have blobbed this evening. Thinking I'll pop some scruffs on now and sand the bits I filled in the spare room on Monday (I blobbed yesterday too due to another ridiculous work day) as a couple of patches may need a final touch of filler.
OH on the other hand has fixed another three scaffold boards together, so that's the third desk top joined, one (three boards) to go. Some bits need treating with a wood hardener and there's quite a lot of filling to do, but we've a 3 day weekend coming up so plan to crack on.1 -
"Supervised" my son as he dug out a trench for me to plant a wildlife-friendly hedge at the bottom of the garden. Grubbed out enough ivy roots to half fill a wheelie bin. Divided and boxed up a huge dinner service for 2 different people who asked for it on the local "Waste not, want not" site. Chose the colour for the sandstone patio that will hopefully be laid next week. Realised OH's hearing aid has packed up and packaged it to post to local hospital tomorrow, hopefully it will be returned quickly as I'm communicating with written notes as he's so deaf.
