child care vouchers/ kiddi vouchers

  • Hi, I've just hit this situation too. Kiddivouchers trying to say Covid-19 was just a 'delay'. Im still battling it out with them, but my cute little pre-covid pre-teen lad is now a great big hairy arsed teenager, and I dont really have any reason to buy 'childcare' for him. As I have tried to point out to Kiddivouchers, they may see covid-19 as a 'delay', but that doesnt mean my children stopped growing up in the mean time, and now I have no need for the vouchers!

Hi. I have had the same problem with them. I did find a way to use the vouchers - all the other providers allow vouchers to be used for this "item" but Kiddivouchers insist not. I have a vast sum of vouchers left to use as was unable to use them for 3 years during the pandemic. Kiddivouchers say the money will go to a charity of their choice but if you look at their company accounts over the pandemic, they had little money coming in but the sole shareholder had a sudden uplift in funds from the company. Makes you wonder what these "charities" are. The upshot is that they are refusing to refund mine, even though my employer agrees to deduct the PAYE from them. I have no where, where the vouchers can be used as my child is now 14 and the age limit on childcare from our local childcare providers is 12. Anyone else had any success with refunds from Kiddivouchers?
  • Sounds familiar. It was a few years ago I used them, but I remember having to adjust towards the end to make sure all the vouchers were used and none left behind.
