New Customer or Not?

Openreach have recently brought fibre broadband onto my village. I am thinking about taking out a contract with BT but I see that their offers seem to apply to "New Customers" only. I have previously had BT as my ISP but long before they offered a fibre service. I left them over 4 years ago to join a wireless supplier which could give me a usable speed. BT was charging be broadband prices for what was basically little more than dial-up speeds. Would this disqualify me from getting the current offers? I have looked on the BT website & can't find an answer. It also seems strange to me that any enquiries have to be done over the phone. No live chat or even email to contact them.

New customer generally means , not currently a customer, so joining from scratch or joining from another provider should get you a ‘new customer ‘ deal...that’s usually the case with all providers not just BT.1
