My appeal by Excel was obviously rejected. I know it is pointless going through the IAS but.... I have included a copy of the appeal I'm going to send. Anybody got anything that they think I should add?

I would first like to start this ‘appeal’, with an introduction into the events that have occurred that have brought us to this point. Following on from this I will present my over overwhelming defence, followed by a brief statement.

The story began one faithful day when I received a letter claiming my vehicle was parked illegally. This was a great surprise to me, what was even more surprising was the location that the ‘offence’ took place. Having never visited the location in question I was obviously going to appeal this so-called offence.

Excel Parking Ltd are pursuing with the case with the assumption that I was the driver, despite me repeatedly telling them that this was not the case. I also appealed to Excel Parking Ltd for more information of the ‘offence’ so I could help determine the perpetrator. They ignore my request. They are obviously not as interested in bringing this criminal to justice as I am. I have tried relentlessly, exhausting all possible avenues. It is such a shame that we could not work together to solve horrendous crime, I could have been the Robin to your Batman. I have won the Annual Cluedo competition the last three years in a row, and I know with your help I could certainly crack this mystery. It saddens me that the perpetrator will escape justice, but I shall not be held accountable for his/her crime and I look forward to defending my name in an honest court with an honest judge. Unlike the disgraced former judge who started this so-called ‘independent’ service.

Which brings me on to my next point, my appeal may seem half-hearted, but I prefer to save my defence for court, where Excel Parking Ltd loose 99% of the cases they take to court. The IAS is as much a joke as Excel Parking Ltd and the IPC. One wise man once said, ‘with great power comes great responsibility’ (Uncle Ben, Spiderman, 2002) and it is such a shame that many of these cases could have been prevented from wasting court time at this stage. What is even worse, is the fact that this wasted court time could be used for actual solicitors and barristers doing actual legal work.

I understand your frustration, as an adjudicator at the IAS that you have sought a career in law and are stuck reading parking ticket appeals. It must be extremely embarrassing for you but wasting court time will not soften the humiliation and shame occurred by your own short comings.

We both know that the IAS is as much use as tits on a fish and this appeal would be rejected no matter what evidence I presented. If this is your way of justifying your existence whilst contributing nothing to society then I feel sorry for you. It must be hard, all of the appeals that you reject then go on to win in court. Nobody likes losing, I once lost a game of conkers in primary school and I was devastated all week, I even gave away my milk carton to little Jimmy (nobody gives away their milk carton).

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read my appeal. In the unlikely event that you reject my appeal, I will look forward to the upcoming court case.

If the above is an attempt at a p*ss-take, just send it off. It has no chance of success.

If the above is a serious attempt at a formal appeal, just chuck it in the bin. It's rubbish and has no chance of success.

No one here will give time to a lost cause.  Just remember that if Excel sues you, your appeal will form part of their evidence and will be read by the Judge conducting the hearing - just so you know!

Chedder_Chad  ...... might as well send it, it won't make any difference.
But finish it off properly ...... ask them what plans they have when they become a dodo because of a new appeals service .... They might as well end their scam life with a laugh
  • Yeah, why not? No matter what I say it will get rejected anyway. And there is nothing on there that can hurt me in court, fair enough it may be a little sarcastic but its not insulting or anything

Yes, they reject but judges don't

Even the scam master Gladstones who invented the IAS scam will know their time is very limited.
They will be in denial right now and we just humour them.
Even their members must be scared as to what they do next .....

The outcome basically said that just because I was the keeper it does not prove I was the driver and it is up to the company issuing the PCN to prove I was the driver.
Very well done. 🥂. Buy your lottery ticket now!

You didn't send it to POPLA by mistake? 😄

Accepted - as in you won at then IAS with that hilarious masterpiece of an appeal?  Well done!

Now we can cheerfully advise people to copy your example, making sure they use the immortal words:

''We both know that the IAS is as much use as tits on a fish''.
