BoilerGuy said:Its civil enforcement Ltd, they have mentioned this on the second letter they sent me.It was a letter of notification regarding keeper liability, says Its been over 30 days since PCN issued, trherefore in accordance with schedule 4 of the protections of freedoms act 2012 as the registered keeper of the above vehicle, you are now liable for the full amount outstanding for this PCN blah blah blah
It's not that letter you need to check against the POFA, it's the first postal PCN (the NTK).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's not that letter you need to check against the POFA, it's the first postal PCN (the NTK).They have named me on the PCN. They have said "We therefore require payment of this Parking Charge Notice, in accordance with the parking terms and conditions clearly stated on the signage : Permit holdders only"I haven't gone to look at the car park yet but i doubt the signs are the same as April 2019? Does it matter they have spelt "Holdders" wrong? The only other time they mention the driver is on the back basically saying if you were not the driver of the vehicle, notify us of the name and current address for the driver. Also mentioned schedule 4 of POFA 2012 in regards of appealing.0 -
You need to check the first letter sent to you against the requirements of pofa. That's your job to do, and do it soon.1

They have named me on the PCN.What's that got to do with POFA compliance?I have checked the first letter and everything seems to be inline with the requirements of pofa. They have all the details required on the the letter they sent to me.People always say that and 80% of the time, they are wrong.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Although i am doing this late at night (until 3am last night) and very tired (My busy time of year running my company) i have gone through it 3 or 4 times and cannot see one section where they have gone wrong?
They have the correct reg number, dates, photos, amount due and reduced payments, it has been sent in a suitable time. The only mistake they have made on the PCN is the fast they spelt "permit holdders only" wrong.

Can you show us a picture of this sign that forbids parking to everyone except permit holders?1

You don't appear to have compared the wording to the POFA. You haven't mentioned doing a 'spot the difference' check against Schedule 4 para 8 or 9.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
