They MUST hold data about you because they have not assigned it to DCBL recovery. The data doesn't disappear.

I done the data query on the Parking Eye website and they emailed me to say they no longer held any personal data relating to the parking charge. Which seems strange to me. I gave them their reference number no other ID. Do I go back to them and advise further information ie car Reg, ID etc? Or do I keep the email and await further correspondence which I assume from DCBL
If Parking Eye have no info on their own reference number, why are DCBL involved.
I would write to DCBL via email telling them that PE have no record of this and why are they contacting you ?

Get the worm to crawl out of the woodwork
  • I have went back to Parking Eye with addresses and the car reg number. This is the reply I got. I have censored any personal details so hopefully this is okay to share on here.

Then reply to dcbl and give them a copy of that document and tell them to erase your data before you start an ICO complaint plus legal action , fight fire with fire

Are you giving the right VRM and the name of the registered keeper with the DVLA?  Seems odd.

    Why not ask the ICO?
