Hello, just snuck £2.40 over my budget so not bad. Hopeful I won’t be supermarket shopping until next year. Loads of dog food so won’t have to buy any in January and cupboards full of tins/dry goods so I can knock plenty together in an emergency although meal plan is done to 4th. I wanted to try a reduce my budget in January but unsure if it’s realistic in the current climate, although I may go in January and find empty shelves so that would be decision made. Doom and Gloom I am always so jealous of your lovely box photos, it always looks lovely and fresh 🥦SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)7

Have updated spreadsheet up till today, currently standing at £183.82/£300, hoping to come in around £200, as it doesn't include the £212 I had saved as Mr T vouchers.
Will definitely carry it forward into 2021 as saving £20 a month for 10 months is easy and really helps in an expensive month.
Just wanted to wish everyone a very happy Christmas, will pop on before new year to update spends and declare for Dec xGrocery Challenge 2024

£9.54 in Aldi, hopefully last shop of the year. Fridge full to bursting, veg racks too, been playing freezer tetris for months, I am going to sum up anyway.Do I need it or just want it.4

£9.31 spent since last post.
This is the last spends for us for the month/year, we have no more deliveries in this budget. We have to quarantine as someone in our bubble who we saw recently had a positive test so we can't go out and shop, or do anything outside, for the rest of the month. Thankfully we have plenty in. Just sums up our year to be honest.
So totals are following.
£339.40/£350.
£10.60 left.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy5 -

@Doom_and_Gloom Best Wishes to you both and I hope you are both well at the end of your isolation.
Yesterday's announcement was a bit of a surprise, going from Tier 2 straight to Tier 4 (sounds a bit like a game of Monopoly - go directly to jail....).
Definitely no more shopping trips in view of that so I'll just say hope everyone has a safe and Happy Christmas and I'm going to declare my total now:-
£81.99 spent, come in at £8.01 under budget.6 -
If anyone heard a loud bang, it was the budget exploding! Aldi had loads of reductions, 75% off, Lidl had 30% off. Freezers both now rammed full of mince, fish, stewing steak. Barn full of boxes of veg. May not need to shop again this millennium. Total is now £394.44/£300. Hope everyone is well, and that you all have a good and healthy Christmas, see you all on the January thread, mumtoomany.Frugal Living Challenge 2025.6

Two more small spends to declare: £3.95 in Lidl and £4.65 in MrT’s, which bring our total for December to £137.80/£140.40, leaving £2.60 for the remainder of the month.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas. @Doom_and_Gloom, hope you aren’t infected. @elsiepac, thank you so much for running these threads.

Needed to go and buy some more eggs and mushrooms today so now have just over £50 left but that should be more than enough left for a shop next week as just got the offers from Lidl so will be going next week to get the discounts on washing liquid, dishwashing tabs etc as they are 20% off so definitely worth buying ready for next year although they will come from bulk fund rather than GC budget!
