Help!.....
I have recently found out that I have a small charge £1200 on my property....this originated in 2008 ccj...which I negotiated to pay back weekly this was paid in full after 18 months!...but the charge still exists to my horror!...I have tried to recover evidence but there isn’t any...it was 12 years ago!..also contacted courts!..no evidence!...the only evidence is on the title..that this charge still excists!...HLFC Limited put the charge on!..but they were liquidated in 2015...companies house no evidence!...I manage to trace them myself in jersey!...contacted courts there!...it stated they on the register in jersey ! ...but also liquidated there!...again no evidence!...in the meantime I was going to apply for a small buy to let remortgage!...will anybody touch me with this charge on my property that I want to remortgage!...ps I’m now waiting to hear from land registry whether they will remove from deeds!...to be honest very much doubt it!...where do I go from here 😢

Land registry will not remove the charge from the deeds without the authority of the lender.
There is HLFC Limited on Companies House website with a name and address of a director.
You are correct in saying that without this charge being removed you will find it very difficult to remortgage.0 -

Yes they are letting/estate agents!...the HLCF Limited I’m after we’re debt agents a subsidiary for Barclays I think !..thanks anyway0

Did you pay on your debit card? Can you ask your bank for historic statements to evidence this?
