    Are you doing the counterclaim and do you understand the reason for it having to be filed now (and who to email the document to, and what to put in the subject line)?    You would have to ring the CCBC tomorrow as well, to pay the counterclaim fee of £25 up front and check no default judgment has already been made.    Cross your fingers.

    That is the Northampton CCBC email, as stated in the TEMPLATE DEFENCE thread. 

    I wanted to check you'd read the instructions and didn't send it to the wrong place.

    For clarity, are you counterclaiming as well, and do you know that you must pay the £302.27 one (in full) to avoid a CCJ?

    Ring the CCBC in the morning and make sure they lodge your defence as received and take your counterclaim fee.

    I gave you a link less than a hour ago that tells you exactly how to file a Defence with the CCBC.
  • Thank you- ok I have sent and made sure I put the correct heading and email body. thank you. 

    Yes I am counterclaiming also- I attached that to the Defence pdf.  

    Ok so I will pay that and then go through the process hoping to win a refund?

    The counterclaim isn't a "refund" , legally speaking, but in effect that's what you're asking fir - to be returned to the situation you were in has they not unlawfully filed a claim against you
