What are your plans for all the bedrooms upstairs?  In some properties they would make nice second reception rooms - often good views from the window too.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,
Had the whole of their cash in his care.

  • It had a sitting tenant though, so that's going to be an awkward viewing.

It's not the viewing you need to worry about, it's whether the tenant will move out in order to complete the sale.  Still worth viewing but if the tenant doesn't want to go then they could be there for another year.

Bedroom for me obviously. Home office/computer room with another, and the third as a storage room, extra wardrobe, camping gear, all the old kids toys I still have (mostly legos) and don't want to throw away.

Yeah evictions are difficult at the moment aren't they. I would have to come back and ask what I would have to say if I made an offer, eg that I would require a viewing before exchange and the house to be vacant before exchange.

OP is paying child support so presumably needs bedrooms for when the children come to stay.

Just wondering - how do you find out date and amount of price reduction on a listing?

You don't need a sofa just a comfy chair and side table.

    No need for dinner table.

Most of the house had plenty of wall space for TV and piano.
Many the rooms are so big the TV chair won't be on the opposite wall if you have a decent 4k TV.

You don't have people round, do you ever go round others?

Or is it just a few acquaintances down a pub.

There's various browser plugins and extensions that add that to a RM page - I use PropertyLog. But it seems to not have kept up with the latest RM redesign yet, so the price history is only shown in the search results, not on the page itself. Yet?
