DJ Harvey really is OPS's nemesis. I wonder if @Coupon-mad was involved?

When are OPS going to get that restraining order?

I just hope that the veteran that lost his legs and was ticketed by VCS wins his appeal.

Interesting comment about being ticketed whilst going to get change. Ongoing case with Excel at the moment regarding the car park where I was ticketed.

Not clear how much of that is costs and how much is damages.

I'm uncomfortable with the notion of the court awarding more than the actual sum claimed. Not because I disagree, but because then its simply a free for all. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the claimant ppc seek to have it reduced on appeal to the amount claimed by the defendant.

I think he has had it with OPS and awarded for unreasonable behaviour etc , probably because the defendant was an unrepresented L I P

Seen it happen on Rinder (yes I know what people think) , he construed it for them and has awarded higher sums

Be interesting if OPS appealed and lost , setting a precedent , plus bear in mind they were warned by the same judge Harvey earlier this year !!

    Coupon mad reported on it
