Not sure about the above case. There is a fast tracked case (not parking) that has been appealed and was originally heard by a DDJ of a similar name.Jenni_D said:I'm referring to the comment by "Joke" (I think it was) that there was another case judged by DDJ Harvey that was going to appeal - I wondered if it was this one in this thread, as this one was also judged by DDJ Harvey.

Given the high level of stories about OPS, where are the brains behind the BPA ? Even if they had a modicum of intelligence they would realise that such operators translate to the BPA running a scam organisation ?
The BPA don't need to wait until the new CoP where companies like OPS will vanish ... do it now and prove you are credible and not some outdated old dinosaur not fit for purpose2 -

“The clear majority of car park companies are honest and fair, but unscrupulous rogues are undermining the whole sector. Some dodgy operators are engaging in practices such as unclear signage, fining people whilst they are getting change to pay for parking and penalty notices being issued despite payment machines being out of order.”D_P_Dance said:Sir Greg said what?

Indeed, it seems very unlikely that Sir Greg would say that. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

Let's hope they do appeal and lose. The judgment will then become persuasive on the lower courts.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

What we are seeing from these legals right now is the "my dad's bigger than yours" syndrome
With the parking companies ducking and diving from one legal to another, too scared to go to court themselves, legals who feed people with nonsensical rubbish and seriously think a court will believe them, probably the cartel is buzzing at the moment ... "look what we did today" ?
EXCEL v WILKINSON will scupper a lot of this rubbish
